About

Books kept by someone who has run the businesses they belong to.

LedgerProAcc keeps the books for owner-operated businesses — the kind where the person signing the checks is also the person on the floor at seven in the morning.

That background matters more than it sounds. Hospitality, food service, fuel and convenience retail, contracting and rental property each have their own habits: merchant settlement timing, fuel-card reconciliation, tip and payroll splits, security deposits that are liabilities rather than income, intercompany transfers between entities that share an owner.

A generic bookkeeper codes those to whatever fits. The result balances and still tells you nothing. The work here is to make the statements match the way the business actually runs, so that when the P&L says margin slipped, you know which decision caused it.

Based in Highland, Indiana, serving Northwest Indiana and the Chicago area — and, since the work happens in the portal, anywhere the same problems exist.
